I have been a loyal reader of David Dreman’s Contrarian colomn in Forbes for as long as I can remember. I also found his book Contrarian Investment Strategies – The Next Generation a really good read.

In his August column he says that the bull or bear market debate and speculation on what the next short term move of the stock market is going to be is largely irrelevant.

What investors need to focus on the the next 10 years.

What he sees is high inflation because of the money printing and the massive amounts of government debt issued.

Where can you hide?

David recommends:

  • Sell bonds
  • Buy shares
  • Buy real estate

Read the whole article and his older articles they are all very worthwhile!
